The sawmill was located close to the Mississippi River, and it had a nearby park which became a tourist attraction in the mid-1920s. In 1930, Joseph Munsinger was appointed to the post of superintendent over the parks of the city of Saint Cloud. Munsinger had innovative plans for parks around Saint Cloud, and he created paths and flower beds gardens in elaborate designs. Much later, there was a modern greenhouse created in order to grow flowers for the gardens. In 2017, 70,000 plants were planted for the Munsinger Clemens Gardens. Now, this garden is full of beautiful shrubs, perennials, and annuals.
